Grade 8 Service Fair

The 8th grade recently presented the culmination of their service work in a service fair exhibition. Each student chose an organization, contacted the organization to schedule times to complete the service, performed their service, kept a journal and a log of their service, and prepared a presentation for community members. The 8^th graders' objective was to serve the community outside of Brimmer and May, reflect on their experiences in writing, and then share their projects with our community. Our overriding goal was to nurture a sense of social responsibility and promote a commitment to others.

Some examples of where students worked this year are: Birthday Wishes, Pre-Schools, arts programs, a Hebrew School, and Rosies Place.
