Loose Change Fundraiser- a success

The Community Service Club raised $767 for Loose Change.
The Community Service Club raised $767 for Loose Change, a Wayland organization that builds and equips schools in remote mountain villages in Peru. These villages lack electricity, water, healthcare and education. In 2014 alone, Loose Change delivered 1 ton of school supplies to remote areas of Peru, not accessible by roads. Athletics teacher Kim Woods was a part of the team delivering supplies for her second time.

100% of donations are used to purchase supplies for the Peruvian children. This project depended on every penny. In Peru, even one penny buys a pencil, which a child may hold onto for the entire school year.
