The third grade recently showed off their hard work and talent in two French plays.
The third grade recently performed: La Legende de Petite Poule et Le Ciel (The Story of Chicken Little) and La Petite Poule Rogue (The Story of The Little Red Hen). The students memorized and acted the entire play in French. For the audience of mostly non-French speakers, there were two narrators who spoke both in French and English. Each year the French plays are set in a different French speaking country. This year, the plays were set in the Caribbean island of Martinique.
The French plays are a collaborative project between the Lower School Creative Arts Department and the World Languages Department.
