Senior Projects

See what our seniors are doing for Senior Project.
The option to participate in a Senior Project for the final month of school is an opportunity for seniors to explore fields of interest. They work off campus from 24-30 hours a week under the direction of an on-site supervisor. Projects are also monitored by faculty advisors and the Head of the Upper School, and seniors return regularly for meeting with their advisors.

The Senior Projects this year are quite varied. Several seniors are working on campus with Lower School PE classes, Summer Camp, Admissions, the Creative Arts Department, and the International Student Office. Others are learning about possible future careers at an architecture firm, with an animal behaviorist, and at the Boston writing center Grub Street, Inc. Some seniors are volunteering for their Senior Project at the American Legion, a food pantry, a nursing home, and an elementary school. Finally, there are independent studies for those who wish to explore in-depth topics such as artificial intelligence and amateur radio high altitude ballooning.
