Equally important, our value-centered culture helps our students to become honest, respectful, responsible, kind, and open-minded citizens.
The decidedly global focus of our school means that every day our students learn about other cultures, languages, and people while developing critical skills for our increasingly interconnected global society. In pre-kindergarten, our students start studying world languages, and by senior year they have traveled abroad through our Winterim program. Because thirty-two percent of our students are from diverse backgrounds—both international and domestic—we all learn a great deal about different cultures within our own community.
To ensure the maximum growth of our students, the professional development of our faculty is a significant priority for the School. Each time our teachers return from studying abroad or participating in workshops, they inspire their students and infuse new energy into their classrooms.
