The Brimmer and May Board of Visitors' recently enjoyed a full day of events and presentations at School.

The day began with a breakfast and welcome speeches by Board Chair David Kreisler and BOV Chair Charlie Abrams, followed by a musical performance by Greenline, and then Global Programming presentations by students. Head of School Judy Guild spoke about Brimmer and May today and "Looking Ahead" and administrators gave program updates. 

The Keynote Address was given by parent Anthony Brooks, Co-Host of Radio Boston and Senior Producer, The World, Public Radio International. He spoke to the BOV and Global Studies Diploma students about changes in today’s world and the global focus. Mr. Brooks commented, “Understanding the true stories of the world…that bind us together…are really important for everyone…not just for journalists, but for doctors, teachers…Most of the students here at Brimmer and May will end up working with people from all over the world.” He encouraged students to learn a foreign language saying, “In my life, [learning a foreign language] was the single most valuable skill I learned.” 

BOV day concluded with luncheon at the Head's House.
